I am leaving for Nepal in 2 hours! WOOHOO!!! My first time out the country since I was 13, so I regard this as my first real travel experience. Camera, backpack, journal and meds. 2 Months volunteering and 1 month trekking. Solo. hahahahaha…why hello there nervous laughter.

Just a very quick journal to say hi.
Things are looking great. great being I actually have work. Lots of it. Getting paid to shove a camera in peoples faces is a great way to make a living! That said, time for this website has dwindled. Im also thinking of moving to Flikr. It just seems like a more suitable and mature place for myself. The club personnal reality (which is almost the only reason why I still log on here) has moved there, majority of the artists I like has moved there and most importantly, their background is white. But im lazy, so that might take a while.
I do appreciate this website though, and the AMAZING people I have met.
A Conversion at a Gallery
So about a week ago, after about a month of choosing, rearranging, criticizing and finally printing a photography portfolio, a portfolio representing everyday life of course, I went off to present my work to a gallery for the very first time.
I didn't know what to expect. Anxious, I reckoned it was either a win or fail, which meant starting from over and reinventing a new business strategy, or perhaps I would aww the gallery and their well dressed staff. Sponsors would want me thus selling everything in the opening night, filling my pockets with big bucks, media everywhere, champagne and interesting looking, intellectual observers that would
I've done some Fashion Photography
Seduced by film and food, I photographed fashion, for a friend. I think they came out ok.
I'm not quite sure if its a film thing, but, I find that the 28mm doesn't distort that much at all. Unless you really place something which is meant to be straight on the corners, its not too bad. I like it. Its nice and refreshing, and wayyy more exciting than the 50mm. Not better though, just different. This was fun. And, one of the only days in the last 2 months when I woke up before 11am. All film.
